The pad printing method involves applying permanent printing ink using a soft, smooth stamp called a pad to the marked advertising article. In addition to the ink and the pad, you also need a special machine (the so-called pad printing machine) and a matrix, i.e. a metal plate with an engraved or etched pattern. The pad printing method is used to mark: plastic, metal, wood and paper products.
The print is made using pantone colors (C palette), without the possibility of obtaining tonal transitions. Each color is priced separately.
Advantages of pad printing:
- Versatility - the use of pads of different shapes also allows marking uneven and irregular surfaces
- Wide application - by selecting the right paint, we are able to print on many substrates, including: plastics, glass, plastic, metal and wood
- Speed - due to the simplicity of the pad printing technique, it is possible to mark a large number of advertising articles in a short time, which significantly reduces the order processing time
- Accuracy and precision - pad printing is ideal for marking small items, e.g. pens, key rings, rulers, because the logos, despite their small size, remain very accurate and legible
- Price - low price of pad printing makes it a very popular marking method, used for both small and large print runs
