Sublimation printing is a full-color, digital decoration technique with photographic quality. Patterns are printed with special ink on transfer paper and then hot-ironed onto the surface of the product. Sublimation is used for polyester products in light colors or surfaces adapted for sublimation.
When marking using sublimation, we can use vector files or use high-quality bitmaps (resolution not less than 300 dpi) while maintaining the original marking sizes. Digital printers are based on CMYK colors, so PANTONE, HKS, RGB and other colors will be automatically converted to the CMYK palette, which may cause minor differences in colors that we have no influence on.
We recommend washing products marked using the sublimation technique by hand.
Advantages of sublimation:
- Full color prints - the ability to create multi-color prints with clear, saturated colors and almost photographic quality
- Speed - order fulfillment is very fast, and prepress costs are low
